Software Quality Days - Pre-Conference - "AI" Track

What is it about?

AI for testing to generate test code or AI for coding (see Copilot) to suggest good code examples; that is almost "state-of-the-art". But isn't something missing? Aren't we largely dealing with brownfield software that needs to be transformed in order to be cloud-ready and scalable? Couldn't AI help here too?

In the presentation, we will look at what AI-based methods could do to simulate software restructuring, check its feasibility and costs and which data can be used for this and how. We also provide an outlook on how AI could be used to help manage the technical debt of new features.

    • Target audience: Architects, project/technical managers, key developers, managers, decision makers
    • Prerequisites: None
    • Level: Intermediate

Participants learn about the following aspects

  • State-of-the-art of AI for software engineering
  • Challenges of “brownfield” systems
  • Non-solved challenges of software engineering
  • Solution approaches with AI
  • KI methods in practice
